OK, I've been messing around and learning cool new things. I've added new info on my training, new pics of Gabbi and as always new reflections in my journal! CHECK IT OUT!
I'll be participating in the St Anthony's Triathlon in St Petersburg, Florida on April 25, 2004. The race is a one-mile swim, 25-mile bike ride, and a 6.2-mile run. Phew! All of this is on behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's TEAM IN TRAINING.
Along the way I also have a personal goal of raising $7000 for the Society. I will accept donations through May 15, 2004. I will keep you updated with my progress along the way.
I am training with 13 other Tucsonans. Five of us will race in Florida on the 25th of April and the others on May 2nd in Tempe, Arizona.

GABBI MARTIN
Gabbi Martin is my honored teammate! I am swimming, cycling and running on her behalf... she is my inspiration. Gabbi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on May 9, 2000. She is now in her 2nd year of remission, which is a great accomplishment. Gabbi has a sister named Baylee and her parents are Dave and Debbie Martin. She is seven years old and starting her second season of soccer. She is also taking ballett, tap & jazz! Gabbi loves to listen to music, talk on the phone and watch movies!
